BOV Swap without rewelding?

I am currently using a Greddy Type RS BOV, and I was wondering if I could switch to the HKS SSQV without having to weld on a new flange?

but you couldnt use the HKS right?

I have had no luck finding anywhere a adapter for the HKS which lead me to think that they were compatible...

but from pictures it didn't look like it..

can anyone help me out, I wouldn't mind having to buy a adapter even, if only I know where I can get one.

try www.atpturbo.com They have a bunch of adapters.

The GReddy flange is pretty much the universal flange, so I bet there is an HKS flange adapter for it.

If not, it shouldn't cost more than $50 bucks for a good shop to TIG it.

I recently switched from GReddy Type S to a Synapse Synchronic (non-diaphragm, uses a piston <--hehe)

I am pretty impressed at this BOV, I highly recommend it, no surge at all and very smooth transition between gears.

Synapse Engineering <-- pick from PRODUCTS the Synchronic BOV then the SB001, I bought mine from eBay, it came with a GReddy adapter (which I used), the weld on adapter, a TIAL 50mm and a VW adapter. It also came with a MAF anti-stall adapter.

There currently isn't an adapter to go from the Greddy BOV to an HKS SSQV. You could possibly modify a Mazdaspeed 3, 6, or CX7 adapter flange to work tho. Just depends how handy you are...
