Stop making me nervous... I am now contemplating going turbo in the future. Sounds like a major hassle, not for the weak it seems. Alot of problems, time, money and more hassle... Maybe I should just drop the S2000's F20 in there and boost it, kinda like what MM was contemplating.
Seriously though, its not that big of a deal us Sarxer's are just doing things very differently from everyone else and trying to create new setups. If you stick with a stock greddy kit a cobb tune and all the MM fixes you are good to go.

Yes.............I'm pretty hard headed
Although if I had figured out this stuff back when I got the turbo back from AMR, I would have been boosted long ago. What I am doing to this one, I could have done to the AMR version. Oh well, you live and learn and I have learned a lot about turbos, specifically the Greddy.

I have a full on man crush. I just met a machinist that does everything and will have my turbo done tomorrow. He even had the screw in plugs to go into the ports that were already threaded. He is going to tap the two ports we removed the freeze plugs from and have me ready to rock tomorrow.
He also had a pristine Toyota FJ40 and jaw dropper 1955 Corvette convertible. The guy was recommended by a reputable engine builder who uses him for special projects. We talked for a while and it s nice to meet a true craftsman. And to top it all off it is only going to cost me around $60.00.

I'm still gonna skip the Texas8, it's just too much to get this all buttoned up by Saturday. I could take off work but I won't be fully tuned anyway so I don't want to risk taking a road trip until I can be sure everything is sorted. I'll go up to my fathers this weekend and celebrate his birthday with him by wrenching on his Jeep.
