Okay guys, I am getting some conflicting info on the Greddy T618Z. Can anyone tell me if it is in a TD04/TD05 housing or a TD06? Turbo builder is replacing the center section with a water/oil cooled TD04/TD05 center section but I just read the T618Z is a TD06 housing.
I mean they will know for sure when they actually tear it part but I am just curious if this has been confirmed by anyone. Also, anyone looking for a great turbo re builder should use majestic Turbo in Waco, Texas. They are really working with me on getting the best out of this turbo in terms of reliability.

That's what I have read on the skylines boards. I am ready for boost! I also found this cool turbo timer

That's pretty nifty, I park my car in a sealed garage with no ventilation, so I am skipping on the TT for now but they are pretty cheap so if I start getting lazy and don't feel like waiting for the dang thing to cool I'll just get one.
I'm putting my turbo project on hold even longer becuase I signed up for the powertrix group buy. so its going to be at least another 2 months before I can get all my parts together.

It's hard. That's what I like about it, hopefully it will fit nicely.
Yeah i have always wanted to try one of those gas pedal adjuster thingamagiggies just for ***** and giggles but they are expensive.
But it has eco mode think of the savings!!! LOL.
If it wasn't such a good deal I wouldn't be getting the coilovers.
I realized the other day my suspension needs some major work, I'd like to keep up with NA Miatas in the canyons lolol.

Yeah, I am in no rush for coilovers, I have brand new springs and KYB shocks. I actually have a set of Megan springs I am thinking of slapping on just to go lower and see how they compare to the Teins. We shall see.

I'm well aware of the purpose/use, but don't see how it's nearly $100 well spent. I've owned quite a few turbocharged vehicles and have never seen the point. It doesn't take long for the vehicle to cool down after beating on it. Most will have their temps down just while driving in their neighborhood to their driveway/garage or driving through the parking lot looking for a spot at the mall/restaurant.
Again, just playing devils advocate and possibly saving you $100 towards something else you may need.

EDIT: as far as turbo timers go, this one is pretty slick. I love the potential for an OEM-ish looking install.
I'm not meaning to sound like an ***, so please don't take it that way, but do people still buy turbo timers?

For a track or any form of competition car it's probably a good idea .

Heat is the enemy and as long as you're happy with your car, that's all that matters in the end.

yeah, but that's just it, I'm never happy
I constantly obsess about heat, about my engine blowing, etc.
But I have to admit I secretly love it.

Bwhahahaha.

no ****, I am working on getting a spare now.Exactly, I spend that taking the kids to the movies over a weekend.

Oh, beer. How I've wasted a mint on you.
Turbo builder is replacing the center section with a water/oil cooled TD04/TD05 center section
ARC use to make some really cool stuff. I believe they made a Ti Radiator under hood diversion panel.
