Yeah I have been wanting the honeycomb straightener for a while now. This will allow me to relocate my MAF. So with this and the new tray (getting coated), my intake temps should be good to go.

Nice man! Trying to remember what your setup looks like. Did you ever post engine pics with the your setup installed?

It's not finished yet. I have a full tray and a new SOHN reservoir/catch can setup already, I just need to get it all fitted and installed.

Looks great. Hopefully the new MAF tube and filter give you solid readings. If it works out well will the place you had it made produce more to sell? Mine (modified AEM) needs to be replaced.

Everything is up to spec, it should work great as a replacement for the AEM piece.

I already am, I had to remove mine last month because the heat destroyed it and it was leaking. That is why I need to get it installed this weekend. I already found oil in the compressor inlet pipe

That MAF tube is NICE! Bet you paid a decent chunk of change for that!

That pic of your car with the bumper off just reminded me I need to get a new crash bar made so I can fit my AEM Dryflow filter. Right now I'm using an old K&N filter that I want to toss, think it's a little too small.

That mad adapter looks thick like the sensor may sit high.

absolutely beautiful MAF tube!

I was thinking about removing my catch can and just venting the pipe to atmosphere at the end of my undertray with the little filter still attached until I came home from DGRR and noticed it was about 1/16th full.

I had cleaned it out (replaced the visual inspection hose) immediately before the trip. I admit I did some seriously hard driving to/from and during... spent way too much time in boost, if there's such a thing.

I kept my catch can because I have seen the same thing, one time I overfilled the oil and filled my catch can. so I am happy to keep it, really its an oil/water separator that works great, I always seem to have some kind of water/oil/film in it about 1/8th its also more humid here then texas

Yeah my Jegs catch can was usually full of foamy water and oil. But the plastic bulb just can't survive in rotary land. It's sad because I liked how tiny it is and easy to clean. But it didn't even last a year.

Oh looky what I got My new Mitsubishi Mazda S2 starter. Significantly different from the S1 and obviously much better since the one on the car from Hoss-05's R3 solved my issues and is working great

Here is the S1 types (1.4KW and 2.0KW) for comparison.
