Thanks but I don't need another burning orifice.
Well at the moment his MAF is right above the Efans getting bukakked with hot air. So until he relocates his MAF to the crash bar, where it will get bukakked with water from the car wash, it will serve a purpose.
it either has to be moved outside the engine bay, fully enclosed/insulated with a cool air inlet source, or the efans/radiator relocated to the v-mount position laying seed underneath the chassis

Yeah my MAF is not positioned in the best position due to the use of the AEM pieces so it is basically getting super heated by my FAL fan setup because I have no tray currently. This and the piping will get coated and the MAF moved and that should resolve my high IAT's at idle and when moving slowly.

the entire engine bay is being is filled with hot efan spunk, a tray won't accomplish much

the stock MAF isn't made out aluminum nor does it have an additional 30+ lbs of metal in the engine bay exhaust stream radiating heat or an additional heat exchanger in front of the radiator as well
not really a comparable situation

True. The stock composite pieces do a much better job.
hmmm because you aren't getting my point.
The MAF literally sits 2 inches above the E-fan. This is prematurely heat soaking the intake pipe and MAF sensor.
If the fans were not blowing on the MAF and intake piping they would just be getting ambient temperature heat soak. Which would take place at a much slower rate.
Bottom line the fans blowing 170-180* air onto the MAF assembly and housing is increasing the temperature at a much faster rate than they would read if it were picking up ambient temps
Who knows maybe I am wrong... We will get all sorts of data for the haters and see how it compares.
