Yeah I can't wait. The car is driving fine but there are some low speed/light throttle issues I would like to get worked and I still go super rich at times depending on the load.

You have to be commended for your extreme patience . Waiting as long as you have would drive me insane !

At this point I am in no rush and I can enjoy the car right now so it's not bad. She drives fine and pulls hard up to 6PSI or so. Most of the tuning needed I think is higher RPM stuff and some drivability issues. Wanna help?

Didn't realise you were actually going into boost so at least you can get some enjoyment there . The low rpm issues sound pretty minor so if you want help with that email me

Not thanks, we have enough engine builds going on at this time.

I would like my $4,000.00 investment to last at least 40,000 miles but I'll be content with 30,000 since it's boosted I am going to start saving after my paint work is done.

You have a base map? Curious about you hitting 6psi without being tuned.

Yeah I am running Kane's base map with the MAF scaled and some other changes. Strangely enough it wasn't running that great (going super rich and bogging when load increased) but then when I installed the manual boost controller everything seemed to improve dramatically. I didn't really want to mention that because I knew everyone would call BS

Yep, AFR's under boost are solid mid 11's and then go down to 10.8's or so. Every once in a while I'll go really rich to low 10's.

I dont think a/f's are as much of a problem in causing detonation as is seal leakage, charge temps and ignition. Course a/f's have to be in a reasonable range --low to mid 11's and you have to have GOOD OCTANE. I never run my car hard on just pump gas in the higher gears like 3nd or higher.
In 1st and 2nd it winds up so fast you can get away with a little less..

What does the stock wideband stop reading at 10.5?

11.1 - but most aftermarket widebands (+dyno widebands) will show it being leaner by 1/2 point or so . Which is why I try tune it around the lower limit of the stock one .

Weird I was pretty sure I saw mine go down to 10.5 and stop reading... I'll need to double check it.

Potentially the manual BC, put you in a higher fuel VE% range that may have worked better for you. We will see in September.

Once I finish getting my house ready and move, then I can get back into the swing of things. Looking forward to September.

Depending on IAT's and timing mid to low 11's are fine for boost below 7psi. The more I see boosted 8's the more I am thinking over-rich, blowby and bad ignition are leading to some early engine deaths.
