What was curious about the situation is more than one injector was stuck open simultaneously which is usually caused by EMS setup, or improper installation (which can include debris in the line).
For the last time, it was one injector.

Now i think chris is the only that can tell us what the renny can and can't do at those numbers. Since he is the only one reaching them numbers or atleast posting about it. I did notice he was doing some type of water/air that will support his higher damand of power. Now will have to wait for him to discuss what he thinks about all this.
Keep in mind that even N/A Renesises have to be rebuilt often to sustain track abuse.

Yeah i don't plan to run track days too often. Prob maybe once a month or less. And its gonna be rebuilt a few times i'm sure. If i can keep the car stable and safe i might just upgrade to a skyline or something that can take more power. But will see what more things come to the renesis.

What happened I don't see this turbo in the dyno comp. thread? What's going on with the upgraded apex seals?

yeah, its the one thats close to the Mazsport graph. It's not the high power benchmark mind you, its the older 365 one. Who knows how sustainable the 414 one is, Chris would have to drive that for a real long time to make me feel safe :-P

oh and....

APEX SEALS! APEX SEALS! HURRY AND INVENT THEM! :D

Great work!

Looking forward to these Chris. Will be using these and RB lightweight rotors when it comes time for my rebuild.

You put the new seals in the 414whp tuned car? How long did that car run on the stock seals before you made the switch, and did you make the switch after the motor blew, or did you do it preemptively? Very interested in all this for longevity purposes.

Do you have any kind of tentative time frame in mind for releasing them? (matter of weeks, few months, a year, more?) Do you plan on offering them as part of a comprehensive master rebuild kit?

You've ran on the new seals for 15K miles already? Do you actually drive around that much, or are you leaving it running on a dyno all day or something XD

Sorry for the barrage of questions, we are thirsty for toys. If we can't have the toys now, at least knowledge about what's to come will make me happy.

Yea, I second all those questions! 15k on those seals over 400WHP this is true testament and real R&D. My only wish is if we could use the Cobb unite instead of that very expensive X unit.

Chris. I like your company. And I like your car. But.... I'm Broke. And I want your kit. You should consider the benefits of tax deductions from charitable donations...

Chris do you think we could use the Cobb unit with your kit in replace of the inter-X unit?

I think Migi managed to do it, but it would involve altering some of the cold side piping so that the MAF takes accurate readings.

Chris, if you didn't see, I posted a few questions a few posts above. Please address them when you get a chance. Thanks.

You found me in both threads! I agree the inter-X is no longer needed and the Cobb makes better use of the EMU we already have. Chris what do you think, of course I can't argue over the accomplishment!

Well, I am not tuned yet, so I am not putting down maximum power yet. But the REAL answer is that my tires are ungodly good. I recommend them every time tires come up as a topic of discussion.

Sumitomo HTR Z III's (245/40/18). Phenomenal bang for the buck. When I switched to snow tires for this winter, my notion that I wasn't spinning out because I wasn't making enough power was dispelled, because I spin those snow tires with only minor amounts of boost.

However, the difference in power between my base map, and Chris's 414whp tune is as night and day as the difference between my car and a stock RX-8. So if I packed that much power, my Sumitomo's would probably behave like my snow tires do at this moment.

If you were going to that kind of power level, I'd probably recommend wider rims so you can put more rubber to the ground.
