It would be great that we can use it at the furious wheels event.
But the event is so close.

At least you need near $15,000 in parts without labor.

I think that you can make it without shipping the car to PR,
Talk to Acosta Racing in the US they can make the swap for you.

does rgonza have heim's? how is it that you haven't broken the stock ones?? haha

anyhoo, can i give you a call sometime? i'm curious to know what other modifications i need to look into to make the car a daily driver w/ the 20b. i'll be upgrading driveshaft for sure, but have you done any suspension upgrades? i'm not looking to build a drag car; i'm more into autox & autotracks.

thanks.

No we don't have suspension upgrades until now.............
rigth now we're working on try to install a harder transmission.

The first think that you need to do is install the 20B, then move forward
to the other upgrades.

regards,

Manuel

M5 SMG?? how much can you get it for? i assume you're talking about the electronically controlled sequential tranny w/ paddle shift? if you could do that to 20b'd rx8, i wouldn't buy a 360 even if i had the money.

i'm going to go w/ sequential for sure. so that doesn't leave me with many choices. anyhoo, m5 smg sounds very exciting!

by the way, have you done any suspension mods? what have you broken so far?

Rumor has it that my employer may offer us buyout packages in the $140K range. If so, I lean very heavily in favor of taking it and using that startup capital for the titanium PPF, rear axles, and rear links projects. Let's pray Ford Motor comes through so I can get busy on helping you 20B/RX-8 guys. As for me, I am happy (so far) with my nitroused Renny.

charles,

what sort of links would you make for the rear? go with heim or reinforced nylon or ptfe bushings?

my only option seems to be heim at this moment, but i'm a bit hesitant since this will be a daily driver and i don't want the ride to be too loud or too rough for the street (street here is very bad).

anyways, let me know! thanks!
