I see. Now could the stock Renesis engine be tuned in a similar manner to get even better mileage than I do right now? I'm getting around 18mpg with half highway and half city driving.

No, actually I don't know what a 20b is. I assumed it was just a 3-rotor Rotary engine.

I'll look it up.

If I give you my car and pay let's say 20% more to have a 3rotor conversion, could you provide me with one blonde **** star like one on these photos to accomodate me in Greece? (I could have two dreams in one come true you know--a killer 8 and my personal stripper for wife!!! )

On the first two pictures does are normal students that work as models on the auto shows..................

but the lady on the third picture is a "querillera" I can't translate!

If you whant to see beautiful ladies come here and visit a mall any day.

Blue,

is not only the engine is a "complete" tune, the differential is changed, fuel cooler,
fuel pump speed controller, etc etc

Take you're time and read the whole thread if you whant to learn more about the 3 rotor convertion.

Hi OneEvilRX8,

That's not fit in the Rx8.

Yesterday we installed the ignition amplifier to my car
and that think works......................
the idle is more stable and in high rpm's I feel the car with more power.

the amplifier is so small that when you look the engine bay you can't note it.

It's installed on both cars..................................

It is always such a thrill to just look at pics of the engine compartment of your car.
Thank you for giving me a place to dream about my own 20B installed in my RX-8.
Fantasies are much better with pictures.

I could be completely wrong, maybe 8 years or so ago I was working for my uncle who own's a car part warehouse and gas station in Los Angeles. The guys around the shop loved doing crazy swap's and were my first encounters with imports. I remember a miata with a 13b and a 300zx with some sort of chevy motor. Anyways I must have been 14 or 15 at the time but I remembered today a friend of my uncle's who had imported a Cosmo. I may be wrong but I get the impression that the 20b is naturally aspirated, however I clearly remember him saying it was twin turbo. From what I do understand this was one of the most powerful motor's in its class in Japan torque wise when it was released. I’m just curious is the 20B TT? Or N/A I’m thinking it maybe comes in to forms.

20b in japan was the cosmo and it was only released as a REW or twin turbo.

There was a NA 20b/g race engine. you could buy it as a crate motor. but $$$$$$

rgonza runs on the 10.4 - 10.9 sec range......................
mine on the 11.0-11.5 range...............
both with 93 octane pump gas
the problem to make lower numbers is traction,
we don't make any suspension upgrades. Probably in the future.........
Our idea with the cars is to use them as a daily drive cars,
we love to run on stop ligths................

Imagine the face on a modded vette owner when he gets spanked by a RX8

FFR: Is the 8 stable with this much power at the top? How does it feel must pull like a beast just curious if its relatively stable
