my target mpg is 50. i always aim high.

 

with the 3.9 rear tho, rpm should stay pretty low. i'm not saying i'll get 30, but rgonza mentioned he's getting 20's.

Are you talking about the Feed gears?
Wouldn't the RPM's be slightly higher?
I don't know.. I'm don't really know how to do the math behind gearing.

 

The FEED final drive is 4.77, his final drive is 3.9. The stock is 4.44 I think. So RPMs would go down.

 

OH ok... How does the math work behind that... if someone can give me a brief summary

 

He's also using the FD tranny so you can't compare with RX8 numers anyway. Anyone got the numbers from that?
