AAH im getting CRAZY here.

I followed every single step.

Remote Programming
• Ensure that all doors, trunk, and hood are closed,
• open the driver’s door
Carry out the operation below within 24 seconds:
• Insert key
• Turn ignition to the run position and off, 3 times
• Leave key in ignition
• Push door switch, 3 times (The door switch is the little rubber one on the jamb of the rear door next to your elbow when sitting in the driver’s seat, which controls the interior lights.)
• Car will lock, then unlock (If it does not: wait 40 seconds and try again)
• Push 'Lock' on first remote, 2 times,
• Push 'Lock' on second remote, 2 times,
• Push 'Lock' on third remote (new), 2 times,
• Now all 3 remotes are accepted by the car.
A person only needs one working remote to setup a second remote but you need to program all remotes you have (up to four) when adding a new remote. Otherwise the remotes not programmed can drop off of the car’s database.
Key Programming

I get everything right until the black text starts. My third remote (new) wont respond to that "Push Lock 2 times" thing. What can the problem be?

 

i ran into the same problem but i went to the dealer ship and they said that it was nothing they could due i will try that way and see if it works for me

 

I thought you needed two working remotes to program another/new remote.
