I am sick and tired of using cds in my car. I have kicked this can down the road for awhile since I was thinking of selling my Eight. However, I am keeping the car now and need a way to hook up my droid to my 2004 OEM stereo. I found the below link on the forum here and I need to know if this is still a viable option to interface with my phone.

I am looking for something that plugs in or uses blue tooth. The devices that broadcast to the radio are not something I want to use. Let me know is this will work if not let me know if there is a better option?

If you are within the right firmware range, X-Link adapter worked fantastic for me.

As RIWWP pointed out, you have to know your firmware revision.

I'm running a Grom adaptor with Bluetooth
Before that I ran the Mazda OEM adaptor.

Both work well.

 

I really like the Grom set up. I may go with that one since my fireware version is 9.55.

 

I just got a new Iphone 5.. Does the cable for the grom work for it?
