From what I've seen on here, several people have had Mazda do it for them. But they were charged over 100 bucks. Between the cost of the Audiolink and firmware update charge, you might think about saving that money, selling your factory headunit, and just going aftermarket. WAY more features, WAY better functionality, WAY better sound quality.

Thank you, I will keep try looking for it, because that would not be a solution for me to change the headunit, I already have everyting connect with the carPC and car.
I like too the OEM design of the OEM head unit and central panel of the RX-8, it's looks like a spaceship panel
