Subwoofer problem(s)... :/
Ok first off the big problem.... I have two dual voice coil 12s in a sealed box in my trunk. the other day i was taking about a hour long drive and listening to the subs at about half volume... then all of a sudden they just stopped working, i got out, and thought well i bet my amp just over heated. turns out it was just a screw that had vibrated loose, i found the screw and reconnected the speaker wire and... nothing... not a ounce of sound. the amp isn't in protection mode and every fuse is fine. I'm not that adept in car audio so i have no clue what it is, can anyone give me some suggestions?
Next... Me left sub woofer has a "bubble" in it and this is my second one that i have warrantied for the same reason. My dealer wont warranty any more because he think my trunk is getting too hot. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this before... I thought maybe it may be from the magnet of the 6x9's pulling on the cone but like i said i have no clue about car audio...
Please and thank you.

First, not sure what's up with the defective cone. But I'd contact RE directly and tell them about it. Also tell them your local distributor refuses to warranty them, and is giving you a pretty stupid reason.
As for the the subs not working anymore, we really need more info. Does the amp turn on at all? Remove the speaker wire from the amp. Does it power up now? Do you have a multimeter?

this is total speculation untill we get more info, but I think that when the speaker wire came loose it may have touched the other wire and shorted out the amp - this may have blown the amp, it also may have just blown the main fuse on the line off of the battery to the amp. Check that one, let us know if the amp is getting power, if so, is the speaker wire getting power?

I checked every fuse. it shorted out my amp i guess because another amp hooked up the exact same way works fine. and as for the cone i will, because he blows me off 24/7, every time i ask him about it. but i'm getting the amp warrantied tomorrow thanks for your help lol.
