sub/amp question, real quick

is this a good combination? does anyone have any better suggestions or comments on this?

2x jl 10w7's
HiFonics Brutus 1ch 1000w amp

since you havent gotten any replys i like the subs but i never liked mixing subs with different amps, if your gonna spring for w7's you should get jl amps. I think the 10 can take 500 watts so i would get two 500/1.

The 10W7's can take around 1000W RMS, 12W7's can take around 1500W RMS, 13.5W7's can take around 2000W RMS. JL has their subs underrated in power, if you know what you're doing they'll take the power and laugh at you. I have 750W to my 12W7 and it's barelly moving. Two 10's will be a 1.5ohm level so you'll need to get an amp that puts out around 1800W @ 1.5 ohms giving each 10W7 around 750W. Port the suckers and you'll be set.
