Unhappy Sirius antenna on trunk....Help...Orz

Hi all,

Just wondering how do you guys remove the antenna from trunk?
I did research and found out it's magnetic antenna, but no one mention about exactly how to remove it. Someone did mention just snapping it off.....I was afraid I'll hurt the paint.

I want to remove it so I can relocate it somewhere else, but no luck, it doesn't even wiggle at all.
Wondering is there a method or tool to use?

Thanks in advance~

When I installed professionally, I never stuck them down. They are magnetic. Good enough to stay in place through 140mph, I think it's fine. Makes it easier to remove when they need to be replaced......which they will.... they tend to get water-logged over time. I recommend installing them INSIDE the car. In the dash next to the center channel speaker would would fine. I have my Sat radio antenna, GPS antenna and Sunpass in there. All have been working flawlessly for nearly two years.
