Was curious if anybody knows of anything that can replace the hideous ashtray.

I was thinking of dropping in the Racing Beat Guage Panel and then having an AEM Digital Volt Meter in the center, with two switches for my underbody and interior neons.

Just curious to see some pictures. Thanks to all in advance.

 

Most of us that replace the tray with RB gauge pod use gauges that give actual values that OEM gauges don't, like actual oil pressure, oil temperature and water temperature. The OEM ones are just dummy gauges for the most part and don't tell you jack.

I think I saw someone do a custom plate with navigation or something else slid in there before, but I can't recall precisely. I believe currently off the shelf there's only the RB gauge pod, and another one that only offers 2 gauges to be used instead of 3 like RB but I can't recall the manufacturer. I'm not sure if there's any more off the shelf aftermarket parts to replace the ashtray but last I recall, those are it.

For something different than those you'll have to customize it yourself
