FL Single 12" Ported - Final

After numerous builds and changes and designs, i decided to go with something simple. Much louder and Clearer than the Sealed boxes for Dual Subs available on the web, not to mention much LIGHTER, Approx 10lbs lighter(Empty) to be exact.

For Anyone lookin for a step up from the Dual Sealed enclosures for about the same price, This box will soon be available for purchase. This is just the first series of this design that i'll be building, If anyone has any suggestions of what they are looking to get out of their Rx8(as far as bass), feel free to send me a PM, im always looking for new ideas to try out.

I'd like to see a filter on the port just to keep the crude out. Nice looking box other than that

Make sure you talk to the mods before trying to sell your product.

Did the exact same thing prior to my current setup.

yeah, it's too short for my liking, i think im going to drop a flared port in there instead.

what setup are you running now? Im trying not to give up too much trunk space, but im finding it difficult not to do that coming from my last vehicle. I was running an AQ 2200D with a single 18 Ported. Just not the same :-(

About the same. I had mine tuned to about 30Hz if I remember right. Just looks a lot better IMO though. I feel it gives me more trunk room too.

Sorry I must have posted the pic from another host, most likely before we had the albums on this site.... I had a thread called Simple System. This is the pic from it.

its not a fan, its the emblem off the back of the sub. The install guy figured he could use it for show rather than leave it on the speaker in the box. Worked for me
