I have a stock CD Player that has a problem. A few days ago my CD player was fine with the Audio Link installed to it for about a month now. The problem with this stereo is that my cd players doesn't work and my audio link Ipod doesn't work. Everytime I put in my Ipod if it works it makes this funny noise but when I go to CD player it plays fine. Now when I turn on my RX8 today I my cd playe doesn't work and my Audio Link doesn't work. So now I want to know how to fix this problem. Now I suffer is listening to radio NO!!!! Please help..

OEM Ipod adapter?

If not your going to have to bring it out and check the wiring. If your not comfortable doing it, i'd take it to the place you had it done.

If it is an OEM adapter, it's unlikely a loose wire, unless the installer didn't make sure the connector seated all the way. Same as 1st paragraph, but more likely a defective part. weird on how it's both the CD player and ipod adapter, they both plug into the same controller.

Soo it's either.

1. Defective controller that the CD Player & Ipod adapter connect to
2. Defective CD Player
3. Defective Ipod Adapter, in which one could be affecting the other.
4. Loose wiring.

that last one is something you should be able to take out and confirm Note 2 & 3 would be classified as possible 2 separate issues.
