Just had my new pioneer dvd/nav installed with the required metrakit....no sound unless stationary.

once i start moving, the speakers shut off. the installer told me its because of the audiopilot system which the metra guys said would work with. No i have to decide if i want to completely replace my speakers and add new amp....or bypass amp and run without one? or maybe swapping out the bose amp for something else....dont want to lose the speakers cause they hit....

wondering if there is a way to shut off the audiopilot?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the audiopilot just something with the factory head unit?

 

I have to agree with this, sense the head unit control this system.

Anybody out there, that have exchange head unit, please advise!

 

All you need is to get the bose module for the metra kit....that installer needs to go back to school. lol
