and as for volt being gay as much i think the same my *** has killed more batteries in my time then anyone here probably my system is always on if im cleaning my car and im always scared my battery will die and look like a dumb *** so for me its useful

No A pillar is not rice , i dont see why you would consider it rice. Unless you're not boosted then ill understand. But it is a cop magnet especially at night. So be aware of that :S.

 

I think the A-pillar looks nice. Doesnt seem ricer to me.

when the music is off, it displays system stats.



when the music is on it display winamp stats.
and when I click on winamp visualization. it puts a nice little equalizer at the bottom of the lcd which looks sick at night.

You have to be boosted for gauges?

It comes down to gauge placement. Having them in the A-pillar position means you can get gauge data and keep your eye on the road.

Phil's got limited placement for his gauges since IIRC he's got navigation so that was about the only place we could put them.

 

Did you make that A-pillar yourself ?

 

Yes, I made it myself, an LCD, some bondo, some texturizer and then painted it. hooked the lcd into my carputer. and codescanner

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever read on this board. No on plans to get into an accident. I didn't plan on getting rear ended, but it happened. Don't get an A-pillar pod. Like others have already mentioned, there are many other options.

 

Wait a sec. You purchased a car manufactured in Hiroshima, Japan. There is no escape of this legendary "Rice" you speak of. Give me a break please. If you don't want to look like rice buy a Corvette or the like.
