A pillar ricey or not??? i want but dont want to rice out

always been a fan of A-pillars but not sure on this car i have no carbon fiber so i wouid end up painting it stock pillar color but not sure if i want them though i have not seen one thread or anyone have these at all only the ones that go on the ash tray from rb would you get it or not and i would put blacked out gauges so they match the stock tach as much as possible but like i said no one has it too ricey......??? opinions

There are so many other options for gauges in our cars. Please please don't go with the a-pillar.

Thanks. I have a cup there now, but not nearly as clean. Unfortunately, removing the cup leaves a scar. Maybe this would hide the hole somewhat??

Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled programming. Whatever that was. Oh, yeah...Ricey pillars.

I think the double and triple a-pillar gauge pods get a little ricey. The air vent pod is sweet, but it was like $60 or something when you can have it on the pillar for free

The only time I would find that kind of stuff ricer like is when they are populated with the following gauges....

1. A volt gauge
2. A wide band O2 gauge that is either not hooked up or hooked up to a narrow band o2 sensor.
3. A boost gauge when you're car isn't boosted
4. Any other combination of gauges that are only for show and don't actually DO anything.

If you try to make your own apillar gauge pod and it looks like ***...that's rice. If the installation is poorly done, it's rice.

Otherwise, a nice clean install with functional gauges that provide you with useful information is just fine IMO.

i have that gauge pod(not installed yet).

i think its rice unless you are FI. <--thats why i haven't installed mine yet.

boost and EGT gauges would be ridiculous without FI.
