PIE / MP3 adapter problems

Has anyone had any issues with their PIE adapter just turning off. I have my connected to my MP3 player (creative micro) for about a year now or less and it just no started to have problems. What happens is when i turn the stereo to AUX it begins to play for about 10 second and then it goes quite and the screen in blank. i have to press the CD button again and it will turn on again but repeadily does the same thing. Any suggestions? Everything else works fine in the head unit.

this actually happened to me once. i thought i was going crazy too because all of a sudden, it would just shut off.

what happened was, i had my satellite radio unit mounted on the vent right above the CD slot....somehow, the mount was accidentally resting and pressing a couple of buttons at the same time (example, CD and RADIO buttons at the same time)

other than that, i have no idea why it would be doing that...???

I had a similar issue with my audiolink and found out that one of my connections was just barely loose.
