neon under car kit to act like domelight?????
I heve this Idea to add a neon under car kit (neonlights) to the car. but I want for the lights to work like the dome light. with the alarm when we turn unlock the car with the remote the light inside turns on and then when the car turns on the lights turn off.....ect something like that....... and i would like to do it with a switch that has three positions off---on---and alarm on and off with remote.......any suggestions....(I think if i tab to the domelight power i may be able to get it to work)
any body with neone light under their car.......it may sound ricey but it would look nice at night and it would help u to lacate the car.

That idea actually does sound cool, with the remote anyway, synchronized to the dome lights. As long as you aren't driving around with them on. Cool parking lot gimmick, not ricey if functional (finding car instead of the alarm). Let us know if you do it.

I want to do this same thing! I've been researching for days on how to do it... i want to tap my parking lights AND underglow into the unlock sequence.. except i was going to tap through the puddle lights in the door... the only problem ive run into so far is that fact that i want to be able to turn each one on and off individually.. as i see it the only possible way it would work would be with two power sources, although that cant happen for fear of overloading the circuit. i was told by a friend to use a relay... but im still not sure... so PLEASE let me know if you find a way... i've desperately wanted to do this for quite some time!

I was thinking about doing this with a strip of white LEDs under each door and wire them up as puddle lights. I tested it out and it looked cool (more like a puddle light than an underglow), but I ended up using the strips in my engine bay instead. Maybe I'll do this in the future.
