Sorry but I can't be of much help to you. A ton of things could be the problem. If you've checked all the fuses under the hood and all the fuses in the driver's kickpanel, then I'd just take it to Mazda. Car Toys likely isn't going to touch your stock navigation system. Sure you could try poking a multimeter around the navi-hood motor for power, etc. But you said the screen is blank too. Heck maybe the previous owner had a carputer installed in the navigation hood and tore it all out before he sold the car. Who knows.

If Mazda trys to charge you more than a couple hundred bucks, just leave it and go aftermarket. Aftermarket navi performs twice as good anyway.

In fact, Mazda is probably going to charge you an hour labor TO START with. Just to troubleshoot. That's usually ~$100 right there. I'd personally use this as an excuse to replace the headunit with a nice double-din navi. Then you'll have high quality navigation, bluetooth, on-screen iPod controls, DVD playback, etc etc etc. The stock navi is just not worth saving unless it's a simple blown fuse.
