Spray it with the factory black on the rx-8. It's a great match for the piano finish.

 

well, it only has to have enough structure to hold itself up until it gets a mat of fiberglass laid over top. if you've ever watch rides or unique whips and seen them fabricate a custom body kit, they use this stuff to shape and then glass over it. they use mold release wax though, since they cant leave the foam in there, but i wont have to do that.

thanks for the link though, I searched up and down for a craft shop online that sells that stuff. i might be able to get a scrap piece for free from a local boat manufacturer though...I'll know tomorrow
