Cable received today, Axxess box updated to 1.5. PM'd CompMan for addy.

 

The AC problem sounds like the solder joints on the back of the temp contol dial broke. If that is so then you can wiggle or hold the dial down on cold and it'll work till you let go. If you know how to solder well it takes about an hour to fix at the most. (My apologies for quoting such an old entry, I had this same problem and that's how I fixed it)

Think I need the cable. My steering controls wont program correctly. The mode button changes the radio station and I eprogrammed it to the tee but it didnt change anything.

It's possible that it's a solder point.


However, imho if he's been fiddling with the kit and has been moving it around, it's possible that he, like myself, either kinked or snapped one of the cables that go from the fan connector to the metra box.


I had to repin my harness and make sure all the wires we still together. I would recommend that he do the same.
