when the program says searching for board it never finds it. I tried with the ignition on and off.

Anyone have the same problem?

 

You need to disconnect from the car before plugging in the update cable.. As long as the box is unpowered, it will work.

 

I need this cable I'm in Mass. My time comes up wrong.

is there somewhere I can buy this if I dont end up wanting to wait?

Does the firmware update solve that a/c issue? Or is mine a soldering issue? if it is can someone direct me to the thread?
Sometimes when I turn the **** from hot to cold, it doesn't click over, I have to do it a few times, also my AMB TEMP is never right.
Or do I have a bigger problem?

Not sure about the incorrect AMB tmp but the climate control maybe the soldering issue

I sent the cable on the 20th. It should arrive within the next two days if I'm not mistaken. Sorry for the delay,as for my aswc, im pretty sure its fried, i tried it with a different head unit and it was even less responsive. It just wont output the correct signal, if any at all. And yess I checked the wiring and yess I manually reprogrammed it, but to no avail. I ordered a new aswc from an authorized distributor this time, hopefully it'll work.

 

I was able to find another cord so I am up and working. Please take me off the list.

 

I tried the axxess cable and it didn't work so I ended up buying a new aswc.

Symptoms: When it auto programed, only two buttons would work, and they don't do what they're supposed to do.
The next button would change modes and the mode button would skip tracks. No change after manual programming.
When used with a different head unit, the head unit wasn't receiving response from the aswc=> nothing.
