True RMS is actually the Peak value divided by the Square Root of Two. But like I said before, my friend who works there said the values that are spec'd for the car are RMS values NOT peak values. I doubt most people will max the system out. There are 25 Watts to each of the three front speakers, which are mainly tweeters...thats is really really loud in a confined space. The doors are 100 Watts to each 9" woofer. The rears 12.75 Watts. I am looking at the spec right now and these are the RMS figures. Yes, they could be lying and No, I wont post the spec online..sorry.

 

There are 3 amps in our system. the one under the rear dash is ~100 Watts ( 3 x 25 W for the Front + (2) x 12.75 for the rear). The Doors have (2) 100 Watts amps for the Front Subs. I had an Eclipse premium amp in my old car that did 85Wx4 rms... I miss it dearly.

 

Have you looked to see where the Front subs get their feed from? The spec shows 2 amps, each is mounted right behind the speaker after the harness. From the looks of it, it doesnt look like a large amp. I think I found it in your picture. I edited your pic, but I have no place to host it. Are those from the Service manual? The ones I have are the CAD drawings from the engineers
