I think you might be able to bore out the diameters. It's only an extra 8mm.
They aren't available yet, I can tell you that for sure! I haven't gotten the prototype yet, so I know it isn't! He is mailing to me on the 7th via express USPS so I will have it by the end of the week.
I just bought a touch screen monitor on ebay for my carputer system so I dunno what I'm gonna do about gauges. Those ProSport gauges with the peak/warning lights are super nice and match the RX8 perfectly!
I will post up pics once I get the prototype! Sit tight, my friends!

And it's also $150 including 3 gauges, or $44.99 w/out gauges

Chickenwafer, is this the exact pod you were going to make available or a pod that looks like this one but OEM replacement?

This OEM-style triple Bullet Pod attaches over your existing center dash panel.

Would be great if you could get one to bolt on top of the nav screen, with an off switch for the gauges. I mean how often do you use your nav system? but if you have one you dont really want to get rid of it.

No this is the one I lobbied to get made. Lotek= pod I tried to get made. Originally he was going to do a replacement, but it would have cost over $140 for the panel. This is a by-far cheaper solution, and it looks just as good IMO.
The only reason I didn't post his name or his company name (as per his instructions) as he wasn't sure if he could make this pod exactly the way he wanted it, and didn't want his name or his company name thrown around and then nothing happen. This is the 3rd version, and I must say, it looks freakin sweet!
I just got a USPS tracking number from him, it's on its way!!

This baffles me considering I haven't recieved my prototype yet.
The place where you email about a custom pod is what I did. I emailed him and convinced him to make this pod.

They give you two options, 1) screws with screw covers, 2) for $5 extra they give you silicon adhesive and some clamps to hold it together while it cures. I would've preferred a full replacement as well.

He says cutting the dash isn't a big deal and it looks OEM. Of course this is him talking and not me. But from the pics it looks pretty nice.
And I am possitive this is the pod I lobbied to get made. He sent me those pictures that are on his website, and his email address hisname@gaugepods.com (the website) so it's legit.
Hopefully he mailed me mine already!

Well here's what I got.
Came with a template to cut out the OEM piece. I paid the extra $, and got the adhesive and the spring clamps. The spring clamps are used to hold the pod in place while the adhesive is curing.
The texture isn't a perfect match to the OEM piece, but it's close enough. I took a pic of it in my car. I just held it in place since it won't fit flush until the OEM panel is cut. It was kind of dark in the garage so I don't think you will be able to tell the difference in the texture.
The last 2 pics are with the Prosport gauges I picked up near Christmas time. Someone mentioned them before in this thread. Finally I can get these in my car and just in time for spring. I think I mentioned before that a friend of mine put these same ones in his Viggen and loves them.
