ipod to stereo issue

ipod to stereo issue

I just got my grom audio ipod to stereo connector. pulled out the head unit, connected the grom device and went to test everything and the display that tells track info and the temperature has nothing on it and is just glowing....and the radio doesnt work but the a/c nozzles work...any suggestions on what to do...

Did you check your radio units software version ?

maybe you didn't plug everything back in. Could have possibly blown a fuse.. but that's unlikely, check your room fuse in the kickpanel, and in the engine.... at least I think it's the room fuse, maybe the "cigar" fuse?

I don't know... been a while.

the software version is good, and i checked all the fuses, they were all good...everything was plugged in good...everything seems good....i have no idea

does the radio power on at all? what happens when you take the grom back out? if it were the wrong version, it just wouldn't work and your radio wouldn't see it -- it wouldn't take down your system.

i think you missed plugging in something on the harness. maybe that bendy part in the back of the radio unit?
