Truemagellen, what is status on this? Will it be available before Christmas? Any guess to the cost? If not and I go with the sportcaster which P.I.E. connector do I need? Thanks for your help. Dairel
I wish I could get the manufacturer on here to explain what is going on...but a christmas release I can't forsee.
As for the Mbus Pie connector from what I understand the Sportscaster uses a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio output. So you would want the mbus to 3.5mm found here:

That should be all you need. The hookup is pretty straight forward. The 3.5mm plugs into the sportscaster. Run the antenna through the center console to the rear deck.
The sportscaster does NOT run off of 12 volts. The cigarette adapter drops the voltage. Running it at 12 volts will fry the unit. I tapped into the feed to the cigarette lighter and added another cigarette lighter socket for about $2. I then plugged the stock XM cigarette lighter adapter into the new socket. There's plenty of room behind the ashtray to stash all of this out of sight.

Breathing life into an old but has anybody used or even seen this.
They say fully compatible, fully integrated with text and all.

Whats interesting is the RX-8 kit is the same as the Mazda 3 and 6 kit yet its the most expensive. I'd be interested to see if this works though. Too bad I'm gonna leave XM for Slacker/Pandora soon.
Looks promising. I've sent them an email (sales@integrationsolutions.net). I encourage you all, as well. The descriptions and instructions are pretty explicit, and descriptive of the text capabilities. We'll see...
I would look at buying from the manufacture, maybe cheaper?
