How wide is our trunk?

As the title says, how wide is our trunk against the backseats?

Got a cheap offer on one of these:

http://www.audioassault.co.uk/Subs/L...Line_Enclosure

Not from audioassualt, but it shows the measurements

Would be smooth to just slide it in, not sure how the sound is though

I have a tape measure in my belt actually, the only problem is that Im almost 6000miles away from my car atm

Just wondered if someone had measured if once? (or would go 20m out to their garage and do so? )

29" across at the top. ~13.25" high right behind the seat. Looks like you could smash down the carpet a touch and wedge it in...maybe. I'd risk it. Think you'll be fine.

I have my doubts on output. Don't anticipate it to sound like a full size 12" in a proper enclosure. Also keep in mind it's 4 ohm.

It is wide enough for two D-sized acoustic guitars, if the spare tire is removed or not there.

I've read through this thread before, but never paid much attention to the actual figures. They seem awful exact, but yet, I'm positive I wasn't near 31" across and I took an extra second to double check the height because I knew the figures were close to what he needed. I just used a tape measure too though.

These were from me using a tape measure too.. it's not 100%, not even close - but it helped me visualize it when I was trying to design a box (and remember it for later)
