Issue with Stock Headunit

Okay, so basically I have an issue with my stock headunit where it won't recongize the CD player, despite the CD player taking and ejecting CD's. Hitting the CD button does nothing, but when I put in a CD the FM radio stops playing (but the CD does not start playing...). I have an IPOD hookup too (have had it for about a year) and it does not work either (it utilizes the 6CD player).

Before I order a new headunit or pull it out of the car, any ideas from the club?

Thanks

I second this. I acidentally shoved a CD into my CD player when it wont recognize the player. And now whenever I press the eject or CD button, it either says No Disk, or it'll stop playing the radio for a few seconds. And I lost my favorite CD. Any help on this??

Check the cabin fuse box. Mine did the same thing, and I had blown a fuse.

Enough of the hassles, if it's really not working anymore, then just get a new one. The head unit is already defective and needs a new head unit to be fully operational.
