No reset procedure.

My mechanics did it for me, and he pull the battery out for 15 minutes before detaching and connecting the resistor.

He also cut the harness out of the stock seat and use the plug in it. He was so quick that I did not know what he did.

Now I think my off topic question is how to turn the stock seat into office chair with functioning buttons!

I believe that it is Red Black Black Black. But I did learn at the Shack so I could be completely wrong. I can tell you that this is what you want...but they were so kind to give you a B&W picture of the resistor. :P

So after reading all of this, i'm still not sure what to make of it. I'm getting an error code C1981 seat track position sensor open circuit.
So does that mean i'm missing the sensor or is it just not properly connected? I swapped from non power to power....

There are a total of three connectors. A dark grey / black one that goes under the set from the seat belt buckle and two others by the rail a yellow & white connector. Did you connect ALL three?

Yes I connected them all. The Yellow Air Bag one, the one for the Seatbelt light and the Big one with all the controls to it...

I only saw one mention of C1981 in the shop manual, not sure if any of the images help. I send you the whole section soon.

The 2006s and up have a weight sensor in the passenger seat and that connector does not seem to be the same resistance as the others. Does anyone know the resistance for the weight sensors?
