Hey guys, i have been wanting an a pillar pod for a while, and the only ones available for our cars is the carbon fiber one by carbontrix for $$$ lol. So i finally decided just to make my own. I personally like the look of the a pillar pod...i dont want people to come on here and call it ricey, bash it or ask me "do you want a gauge in your face if the airbag goes off, because i worked hard on it and i am well aware of the issues some people are talking about, but,it came out pretty well in my book.

Also on a side note i am thinking about making another a pillar pod except it will accommodate only 2 52mm gauges instead of 3 like this one if anyone is interested let me know.

Rkostolni, a member on here actually did a custom a pillar pod a while back that was just flawless, i believe he used fiberglass to do it though....By the way rkostolni if you read this i know what you mean by how much work it takes now that i did my own haha..... Anyway, his thread and pics made me want to try an make my own, its not as good, because his is literally perfect haha (https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...tom+pillar+pod), but i am pleased with the way mine came out.

Here are some pics of it so far, updates will come, like installed pics, and i think i am gonna paint it the oem creme color if i can find paint close enough.
