Bought some 3M Di-noc Carbon Fiber vinyl...

I just finished up wrapping the center section of my 8 today with 3M's Di-noc Carbon fiber vinyl. For those of you thinking about doing this...I have to say that this stuff is truly amazing but given the complex curves of our cars, it takes a while to get the pieces looking good. I'm talking somewhere between 5-8 hours!
There are a few spots that need touched up but I am really impressed with the look and feel of this product. This stuff stretches very easily with heat and it can be peeled back and reapplied several times.

Enough with the small talk, here are some pictures I took...

Looks.. out of place.

Certain places it does, however work out well.

Roughly 2 months ago. Not happy about it. I've been missing my 8 dearly, but it was something I thought for the best. I just didn't feel the RX8 should be a daily driver. I was getting plagued by the small dumb stuff that plagues daily drivers (door dings, bug guts, lack of trunk space, etc). I'm not in the position right now to own and care for two cars, so it had to go....until I can afford to care for and house an 8 as it should be cared for.
