My wife yells at me anytime my brain works, this thread has cracked me up listening to Dutch build and build on his first simple idea. Although most of my ideas end up in absorbing a lot of voltage

Thanks RPM666 for letting me know I'm not the only one with ideas that get out of hand
The boards came back, all parts fit, and it's alive <evil laugh here>
I'm busy with "real" work though so it's slow going... more news at eleven.

hmmm...I guess I mostly use the button on the door handle to lock it and not the actual remote. When I press that button it makes the beep. My remote doesn't have much range so I barely use it but i believe it does make that beep when I lock/unlock it.
so with that said my car never came with the nice little beep for unlock and lock
