Search around; ppl have done it and explained how. Let us know if you pull it off. Just promise PLEASE do not put back-up beepers like in trucks. This ain't an SUV you're driving. ;-)

Yes. I have one on my 8. Once you do the composite video to RGBs video conversion everything else is pretty easy. There's a DIY on my website (www.bobclevenger.com) that shows how I did it. Mine also uses a DVD player, but you don't need to put that in if you don't want to.
The back-up camera is not shown on the website because I didn't have the camera when I took the photos, but it's just another video source connected to the converter using a relay for switching so that it overrides the other video sources (nav, dvd, tv) when you shift into reverse. Wish I could figure out a way to make the screen open automatically when in reverse too.
