I know this might be a pain but, you should try unplugging new H/U and hook up old bose and see if it is the amp or maybe the install, I've heard the bose can be tricky.

did you connect the speaker outputs directly to the wiring harness or did you use line output converters to go from the RCA outs to the wiring harness?

SERIOUSLY doubt your Bose amp fried all by itself. Seriously doubt it's fried at all.

Ok so I am having the same issue. I just installed a Kenwood navi with the METRA
95-7510HG, all controls worked fine however I have no sound. I pulled it out and checked all wires, still nothing. I even took an rca and cut it up and went from the line out to the speaker connections and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas. Is there another adapter that I need for the bose or is it maybe a bad kit? I know the Kenwood works. We even tested it back in my truck that I just deinstalled it from yesterday.

??? You mean you cut the end off an RCA cable and touched it directly to the speaker's + and - terminals?

I'm no Bose expert, but something like this usually means the remote turn on for the stock amp is not connected.

did you connect the amp turn on (remote) wire to the wiring harness? it will be the blue or blue/white wire. you need to connect that to turn on the Bose amp

I tried hacking in some RCA terminals and still couldn't get sound so I gave up and installed a 4 channel and upgraded all the speakers. Works great now haha, thanks for all the input
