Ok thanks I'll take a look. I figured that a resistor would have to be used thanks for the heads up. 6 out of 10 hmmmmm that sounds promising lol.

If you mount in this manor you will not need to put another resistor in the front turn signal area of the car
Pico - Did you connect the resistor like this:

RA, That's how it was done. The running /Brake lights don't need a resistor. If your doing both front and rear with the same setup I used (7watt bulbs) make sure you use the 3ohm resistor for the turn signal lights.

Thanks Pico. I have the 3 ohm resistors for each side of the turn signals.

When you said you don't need the resistors for the brake lights, I'm assuming you don't have LEDS on all of your brake lights (including the 3rd brake light)? I've always read that you'll need the 6 ohm resistors on at least one of the LED brake lights if do a full conversion.

I have the Vstar vleds for my taillights and they work without a resistor. I know that you'll need a resistor for the third brake light. All my exterior lights are LED, and the only lights that are resisted would be the turn signals. Sorry for the confusion with my wording.

Actually, I now have all LED brake & tail lights now (including the 3rd brake light) and I needed no resistors.

Thats good info to know. I always thought there had to be a resistor for the third brake light. Its true, "you can learn something everyday".
