Shinka OEM Wheels
are the shinka oem wheels the same as the other 8's?
im looking to strake it up....and i wasnt sure if the Silver Alloy strakes (from rx8strakes.com) would match the luster of the shinka wheels as i thought they were a touch darker..?

I have an '05 Shinka. Yeah, the wheels are a little darker—Mazda called them "dark silver aluminum gloss" in the '05 Shinka press release.
But I don't think you should worry about matching them to the strakes. I bought the stainless steel strakes from Howard in England (highly recommended, by the way, at http://www.rx8-accessories.com/). Some people here were concerned they would be too close to chrome in appearance and only match a chrome wheel. Not so! I don't know why—maybe it's because the strakes are small—but, when looking at the car, the strakes look terrific. They don't look like they match or don't match—for some reason your eye doesn't bother to check. Really!

i wanted to get the silver ones from the rx8strakes website....with the intention OF matching the wheels
im not one who likes 2 different kinds of metal finishes on the car..IE...chrome and polished
