Question Oem Hid Questions

Long story short. My car was hit on the right last Oct and the body shop replaced one of my lights with a HID light. So I have one bright light and one stock light. Looks like ***.

So I just called my local dealer asking what the price is on the OEM HID's. The headlights units are $1,K+ and the lights are $400.+ ea
Anyone know where I cant get them for less? and if that one HID light will burn out in time?

Thanks,
Gilbert

Look on ebay. You should be able to get one light for under 300.

Hey Dom, I am getting my left head light replaced in my 8 as we speak.
I am guessing you need a left side light.
The estimate says ,,,,
"REPLACE OEM HEADLAMP ASSY,XENON LT FE03510L0G $476.74"
This is an HID light.
I am keeping this light assembly and all I have to do is to polish the paint that is on the lens off. If you want it for a good price let me know. I have to look closely at it but I think it is intact ,just a paint scuff from the other car. The light has only 6700 miles on it.
PM me ,,OK

HID's lights are supposed to last the life of the car, 3000 hours to be exact. You can check here $78.99 + S&H for OEM high quality DS2 bulbs. I too, would recommed that you try ebay first, don't forget that our HID's use a different projectors. So, you would need a ballast, ignitor, bulb, and a H7 HID light bulb and or a H7 to Ds2 adaptors for it to be a plug and play kit.

Yeah man I'm a no0b when it comes to this HID/headlight stuff. I was just asking you where you got your hids from and how much?

Guys I'm on ebay.com right now. I did a search for mazda rx 8 2004 hid and there are like 30+ items coming up under; NEW 04 05 MAZDA RX-8 8000K H7 XENON HID KIT $199.99

What should I be looking for?

Thanks for the help,
Gilbert
