A related question: I was thinking about the weight difference between these rotary caps and the simple plastic ones. The rotary caps are definitely heavier - would this not cause the wheel getting out of balance? I realize this is a relatively minor difference, but still...

If that company can make em their FAQ's states their physical size and weight is that of standard caps, and will not affect the wheel balance. Doubt the rotor heads will cause problems since it's a marginal amount of weight.

its only going to be a few grams difference. and if they are balanced after putting the caps on then ...well....there you go.

well its over 2 weeks now, and my rotary caps are still on nice and tight.....and still theft proof. hahaha. i guess my idea is working!

Good job - I took the other two off and have them on my desk. Now I just need to find the original ones for sale somewhere, but no luck so far.
