Just to throw it out there, I got mine through Spoilerdepot.com, which is a dead-on replica of the factory spoiler (though lighter), and they even factory match the paint, all for much less than the Trussville deal.

I don't know if you would even consider a replica, since some people like to have authentic parts on their car.

Thanks for the info. Yes I could save $60 but I worry about the match on the paint and I think you do not get the heaver duty trunk shocks. Do you know if you get the shocks?
Did you install it yourself? If so was drilling the holes a problem?

it did not come with struts, though my trunk had struts from the factory without any spoiler to begin with.

Also, I have the Velocity Red and the paint was a dead match from spoiler depot. It really is just a color code that everyone matches. The Mica colors aren't really that big of a deal coming from professional body shops.

 

Does anyone have pics of the rotaryextreme.com MS Style carbon fiber wing on their 8? I thought it was pretty sexy and ordered it, but just hoped to see one on. I just moved to Germany and am still waiting on my car to get here, but will be posting many pics when it gets here.

I've seen some pictures out there with what looks like an adhesive type spoiler (like what comes on a BMW M3) on the RX-8. Anyone know where to get one??

Yup, you'll have to order from overseas. That spoiler is standard in UK and probably a couple other places. Not offered as an option from Mazda in the US. If you ever get a good quote on one let me know, I'll buy if reasonably priced.

canzoomer has the part # for it and is still trying to get it himself. e-mail and bother him for it and maybe he'll be able to get us all one . I'm very interested in getting one myself so hopefully he'll be successful.
