LMAO.. If I ever see a RX8 with that wing on it, its deffinatly getting an official RiceCop ticket.

Anybody that thinks that wing looks good I have some Type-R badges and giant Mazda logo sticker too sell ya..

But maybe the wing might be good for doubling as a picnic bench, just sit on the trunk and slide your legs under it and walla, instant picnic bench.

I agree with your point about the aesthetics of that wing, but I gotta ask - what the hell kind of language is "walla" from? If you mean the French word, it's "voila". If you think you need to use the word, you should at least spell it right! :D

Gordon

Thanx Mike B..send the troll back to the 350 forum.

This statement proves that he knows nothing about rotories or who does the serious performance work on them. Re-Amemiya has been working on RX's for a long time and is considerd a rotory god. As all true rotrory fans know. ALL of his work is done for perfomance in mind. He would not put in on a car if it didn't help performance.

So, thats why he drives a 350 and not a rotory and he shouldn't comment on what he knows nothing about.

Can I get a Amen my true rotory lovers out there!

LOL, why do I have to know about rotary engines to know if a wing looks ricey? It looks like the same wing thats on every ricer's Honda accord, civic etc.. And performance?? Like you really think you are going to notice a difference with the wing? People put wings on thier car for looks, not for performance.

i dont like it. i just dont like gt spoilers... the only time they realy do anything is at high speeds. that spoiler will cause drag at low speeds hence making it less useful for daily driving unless your racing it around like the company that makes it.

You cannot possibly be serious.. But then again you never know on this forum.

This thread shows exactly why I hate this forum, if you have a different car then and RX8 everything you say is wrong, even if its your opinion. But it makes me feel better knowing that the overall car knowledge of the RX8 drivers on this forum as a whole is way below average when compared to other performance oriented car forum members.

Seems like the RX8 owners are in the "wannabe car enthusiasts" catagory. It takes more then just owning a "sports car" to know about them.

And if you seriously think people buy spoilers for performance reasons and not for looks you need to smarten up.

To be honest, if that wing somehow added 50 hp and 5 mpg, I still wouldn't put it on my car. :D

But, 9-K Rever, different strokes for different folks. If that's what you want on your car, go for it! Don't let anybody tell you what you should think looks good or bad.

And this from a person who owns a Z?

No one started getting on your opinion untill you started running off at the mouth guy.. If you don't like the RX8 forum don't post.
If you are going to post on a RX8 forum 350 Z Driver..know something about the car and its histrory. And being positive about it never hurt anyone here.

Please don't start trolling. Making obnoxious statements just to make them isn't going to get you far on here.Your comment applies to ANYONE who's ever driven a sports car, and is guaranteed to **** anyone who reads it off, as well, no matter who it references.

And while it's true that the majority of spoilers are out there for looks, there is the occasional odd person who buys a spoiler or wing to improve their speed. Rare, but it happens. All of you who are arguing this point, if you're going to continue, do it politely and back up your arguements, and it won't look like a pissing contest.
