Good news! V-LEDS will soon have vehicle specific pages for the more popular models. Take a look at this link for an example:

http://www.v-leds.com/Vehicle-Specif...-p8805483.html

Anyway, I'll be helping them setup a page for the series 1 RX-8 which should make shopping for bulbs a breeze! Keep an eye out for it!

Nice! It'll definitely make it much easier to order exactly what we need. I'll order a bunch more bulbs once the page is up.

Anything New

Hey aipex, I was wondering if you still had the same lights as you did when you first started this thread? Or did a newer version of the bulbs come out that are better than the ones you originally had??

Yeah, I've made quite a few changes since I started the thread, but the first post is always updated with all my current bulbs.

ok, also I was looking at the site and for the taillights there was this new star shaped LED light for the blinker, reverse, and break... Anything about these that I should know about?? They're like 75$ a piece so I'll probably stick with the ones that you have but Idk...

The VStar bulb will work for the tail/brake light only, not the reverse or signal. It's supposed to be very bright though. There are a couple members that run that bulb for the tails.

If you guys haven't seen this on Facebook, now is the time to buy some LEDS!!

"We did it!! 4000+ Fans! OK, here is the deal! As we said the Boss lost his mind and slashed prices on our ENTIRE INVENTORY up to 20% off!! PLUS you can take another 15% off by using coupon code VLEDS at checkout. That is some CRAZY savings!! You better hurry, we don’t know when he will regain his sanity and when this sale will end! ! !"

That's 35% off! I wish I had bulbs left to convert!

****!
I already changed out every bulb in my car.

the only issue I'm having is the map bulbs I put in are the 4 high power LED's and they're TOO bright especially since the door lights are also 4 led high powers.
http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...25900-1-2.html

maybe I'll put something in there that isn't AS bright?
decisions, decisions...

Alright thanks Aipex... I wish that V-LED's would allow you to keep items in your shopping cart for longer than one visit to the website, that it saved it to your account. I have had a couple instances where I have gotten all of my order ready in my cart and either I decided not to buy them right this second or I accidentally closed out my web page and lost the order that I spent an hour searching for : ( Just a suggestion since it seems like your'e close with V-LEDs

Or... you can get one of the eBay replacement lights (I have one):
Pulled this quote out because the 3rd brake light is my last outside light left. Any opinion on which option looks better? I am leaning toward the 7440 from vled to match the tail. Should i buy red or white (because the cover is red)?

You'll want red. You may want to wait a few days on this. V-LEDS is setting up a car specific page for the RX-8 and I've given them a list of bulbs that will work for all applications. I specifically asked if they can sell single 7440 bulbs for the 3rd brake light. I have not heard back from them yet. Of course if you want to get in on the current sale and don't mind having a spare then go for it now

I blame my spending 330 bucks on a full led conversion all on you, Aipex8.

I don't know if I'm happy or angry at this point!

Sorry, I don't have that info. They have sales fairly often though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another around Christmas. I don't know if it will be more than 35% off though.

The latest FB update: Hey V-Fans, We just got word from the Psyche Ward that the Boss’ condition is improving. Better get those orders in before he regains his wits and kills these deals! Everything is on sale 10-20% OFF and you can still use the VLEDS code at checkout for an additional 15% off of that!!!

Still on, but you better hurry!

The rear taillights should be dialed in soon! Just ordered brake lights, backup lights, turn signals and resistors! Thanks again for the hookup!

Aipex I need a little help. I am wanting to get my side marker lights to blink opposite of each other when my lights are on. Do you know how to achieve this? Because it seems that you are not able to do it if you have led bulbs. I currently have leds in the side markers but not in the blinker. If I do this to my side markers I am going to be installing leds in the blinker aswell. Thanks
