I bought the blue LED interior set from RotaryFX. I believe map lights, door lights, and dome light for around 20-23 bucks about 30 shipped total. I am pretty happy with the results for the price and adds a nice touch to my rx8. I'll try to get some pictures up soon. Also the dome light install was a piece of cake, RotaryFX included instructions on how to pop off the dome light, exact locations of the tabs and what not and I had it off in a few minutes for my first time taking it off. I just hope I don't have any burn outs soon because I hear their customer service sucks but so far I am pleased with the product.

I also got the interior pack from rotaryfx the red one. The brightness and quality that vled provides is amazing. The led they give you from rotary fx the dome light has 4 led now mine from vled has 16 now that LEGIT. So today I got in my h11 bulbs for my fogs there the 6000k and I tried to get out the they gray piece with no luck. I also scratched the inside pretty good any ideas?

Yeah, I do, but I wanted to try the V-LEDS 6000K blue. See if I could get a closer match to the LEDs. I also decided to go back with white regular marker lights. Red rear signals and amber in the front. I just took a few quick pics, I'll try to get some better ones tomorrow. I also got white 7440s for the reverse lights, but one of the bulbs isn't lighting up as bright as it should, so pics will have to wait until I get a replacement.

Nice! they seem to match pretty well. during the day you can tell the difference between my 6000k parking lights, 6000k hid fogs, and 6000k hid low beams some are bluer than others, but at night you cant tell. your parking and fogs match but your low beams seem to be a bit brighter color. its the same as mine. except i dont have a good enough camera to be able to take a picture of it without blowing everything out white due to the lights.

Yeah, the V-LEDS HID bulbs are a much better match, the Ultinon bulbs I was using are a little more purple.

I'm really digging the red rear signals. I'm surprised more people haven't tried that.

I've been thinking about trying that, actually.

How bright are they? Looks like you need the load resistors, too? Which bulbs did you get? I'm gonna try 'em...

Oh, how are the front ones?

Thanks!

hey guys i just got my clear corners and there are metal reflectors inside. So, only half of the side markers are brightly lit. Is there any special way to take them out or is it just best to leave them inside? Thanks for any response.

Here's a link to the red signal bulbs (same as tail/brake light):
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/B...34406-1-2.html

If you are doing signal bulbs you will need load resistors so you don't get the bulb out warning/fast flashing. Here's the link for the resistors I'm using (for replacing all 4 bulbs):
http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning...79822-1-2.html

The reds are bright, brighter than my incandescent bulbs. The fronts aren't as bright. I think they are still bright enough to be safe, they seemed to be about equal, maybe a tiny bit dimmer than the incandescents when I was testing them side by side. I've looked at brightness charts and amber is just one of the dimmer LED colors, not much you can do about that. I don't think the cops would like red in front

Most people take them out, I'm pretty sure that's covered in the clear corner DIY thread.

Aipex8 how did you get that metal deflector in the foglight out? I am having no luck. My next attempt it use a razor around the outside to cut the seal and remove the metal shield and seal it back up. Unless of course you have some genius way.

I still need help with my fog lights. The silver piece is still stuck in there. I have tried 2 different types of needle nose pliers with no luck. Lets dont let these very nice h11 bulbs to go to waste.

so is it still attached to the little metal tab? if so bend it back and forth with your finger til it breaks off then hold the light up so the piece falls to the hole and itll be close enough to bend it
