......as for fogs, I just got a complete set of HID's with connectors and ballasts (55watts) for $19, and a set of yellow (3000k) replacement bulbs for $13.

Soon as the weather clears up, I'll swap 'em out.

I am planning on switching out my current parking light LEDs out... I am wondering if the V-LED parking lights mention in the first post require any resistors?

Okay, so I bought the V-LED corner lights recommend on the first post.

I mean they work and all, but the problem is they shine at a 90 degree out, so the front of the lear corner (my reflectors are removed) doesn't really see much light.

Anyone used the V-LEDs recommended for the parking lights in the corner? I bought these for my parking lights and they work really well.

They're so cheap because they're not HID's. They're just tinted halogens. HID's are 3000+ lm, those are probably around 1000 lm.

I recently did HID's in my fogs as well. 6000k HID H11 kit was about 45 bux from vvme. Check bottom of page in this thread for my install: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-exterior-appearance-body-kits-27/so-i-put-hid-fogs-178855/page2/

Aipex8: the interior LEDs are always out of stock: http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...68710-1-2.html

So what are the alternates?

What are the good eBay vendors?

I like what I got from superbrightleds. I had a blown front parking light (inside the low beams,) and have stock HID's, so I wanted to find LED's around 4300k. The WLED-xHP fit the bill, and I'm pretty happy with them.
They're appear about as bright as standard 194 bulbs, maybe slightly dimmer, and they match 4300k HID's well. They have reverse polarity protection, have a linear regulator, and appear to have 3 dice, which I would guess are in series (same as having 3-3.6ish volt LED's in series.) Not fancy, but seem well designed.
First pic is LED on right, bulb on left, second is the same plus headlights, third is both LED's with the headlights and 3300K HID fogs on. Daylight WB on all.

I was gunna order up some new bulbs and just wanted to run my selection by those of you who have actually put these in your cars.

Parking
Reverse
Fog
Xenon Headlight

In particular to the headlights, can I just put in a D2S 6k bulb in the stock Xenon headlight without problem? HID is kind of still a mystery to me right now...

I don't think that would work for our cars. There is no such flasher unit in the RX-8 that you could pull out and replace with this.

I checked out the fitment guide here:

http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm

And the parking lights you have on your 8 doesn't match what the fitment guide says to get. How do I know what will fit and what won't fit?

I wasn't sure since I found a block fuse like that under the dash (haven't tested it to see what it is for)I read on line that where some fuses for flashers were located.

Thanx for the info

Hm... I wasn't aware of such a block fuse under the dash... where is it? Can you snap a picture?
I checked where the clicking is coming from when the turn signals are on and it seems to come from some black box under the dash on the driver's side. That box however looks nothing like this flasher unit. I did not see any other similar block fuse in the vicinity but maybe I missed it.
Try to pull that block fuse and see how it looks. If pulling it has an effect on the turn signals, then you're on to something
