Just received my new MS body kit today and the front cover had some damage to it. I called the dealer that shipped it and they were willing to pay my body shop to repair it. Instead, I told them to order a new one. This kit is original MS, but the quality of the material seems cheap. I'm concerned that the next one may have damage too.

Has anyone else had any problems with shipping regarding this kit?

 

First I've heard of one being received damaged. Overall folks seem pretty happy with the MS pieces and the quality. I know I've been happy with my MS side sills. Good luck!

 

How was it shipped, UPS, FedEX? Thinking of ordering one but I'll be surprised if it made it all the way to hawaii undamaged.

 

There was a local freight company that made the drop, not familiar with the name, the damage could have happened at any time. I hope the next one is alright so I can finish
the conversion soon.

 

I ordered the MS side it came in twice damaged then 3rd time I cancelled it!

 

sometime bodykit do get damaged during shipping, thats why you need to make sure that the suppied have them insured.
it all depends on the warrpng, did they use bubble wrap and use hard cardboard box?
ask for a new one and call up the shipping company and get them to pick the damaged item up and returned to the supplier.
dont get the kit repaired, especially if it is the genuine kit.
